C.A.P.I. European Federation is a European platform which regroups authors, composers, publishers, producers and performers.
The aim of the platform is to:
- support and promote the activity of its members, and their artistic and professional values;
- strengthen the importance of creativity and enhance the role played by those
involved in the development of cultural content;
- protect intellectual property rights and promote the respect for cultural diversity;
- support policies and measures aiming at protecting the economical and moral rights of authors, composers, publishers, artists, producers;
- reinforce cooperation with EU institutions and international organizations;
- promote cultural events, conferences and forums to discuss relevant topics of the music sector;
- join other international organizations sharing similar purposes;
- promote the artistic content and the activities carried out by its members and partners;
- emphasize the importance of copyright and neighbouring rights in the present society.
